It’s been a fabulous 6 years of blogging. I can’t believe I’ve been here since 2013.

Followers have come and gone, some have quit blogging all together.  But I’m still here.

My philosophy on my blog is Cultivating Gratitude, and Developing Joy.  I’ve learned that not everything is joyful, but joy eventually comes.  Not everything I’m grateful for, but I’m grateful for getting through and past things that aren’t so pleasant.

I’m most grateful for a wonderful Blogging community that is so supportive, and encouraging.

Thanks WordPress Family, you are so wonderful to me.

  1. Hey Wendy,

Thanks for visiting my blog and I appreciate your activity 🙂

I look forward to engaging with you again soon.

    Keep winning!

  2. Hey Wendy! I’ve been invited to do a blog hop and I get to invite 3 people to join…would you be interested? I have to answer 4 questions about my writing/projects and do a post…include my invitees info…then you would do the same. Let me know if you are interested and I will get back to you about the particulars…actually…if you don’t mind you can go to my contact page and email me…because if you do want to do it we will have to have email contact. THanks Wendy…Lorrie

  3. Hi Wendy — I just came across your blog today, and am enjoying your upbeat attitude and cheerful appreciation for life’s small blessings! In my own journey, I’ve resolved to improve my mindset and bring more joy to the world by discovering and commenting on a positive blog every day this year, keeping a list on my own blog as a reference. I’m glad to have found yours, and have added it as today’s entry. 🙂

  4. I just found you through Elizabeth’s blog, Teandpaper and I am so glad I did! Your blog is lovely. I look forward to following!

  5. Hi, Wendy. Thanks for following one of my blogs (Curiosity about space)… but why? I know why I like space and space-related stuff, but why would you want to follow that blog? Not complaining, just Curious (should be my middle name)… It’s just one of several blogs I write, Esther’s Petition (www.estherspetition.wordpress.com) being the one I spend the most time on these days. Have a blessed day. (I enjoy your posts, by the way.) Bette Cox, Florence, SC, USA

    • I didn’t realize you had so many blogs established. I will have to take a closer look.
      Thanks for your kind words.
      Have a lovely day.

    • I will take a peek! One of my goals is to “play better with others”, and I think it’s good for me to consider every invitation. I’m honored you would think of me, but my actual sleeping dreams lately have been really, really bad. I like your approach to this Dreamer thing better. 😉

      • You can write about dreams and hopes. I’m sure that you’ll do wonderfully and I look forward to a wonderful post. 🙂

  6. OK Rob, It’s in the works. I didn’t realize what a pale day-dreamer I was until I sat down to put my dreams into words. I need to work on dreaming bigger, I think.

    • No problem. It looks like fun.
I’ve just got some distractions working right now. I want to give give it a try. I only saw 1 “e” in your paragraph.
      Great Challenge.

      • I can’t find the e. Was it this morning? If so, I found them and erased them. lol Take your time, Wendy. Whenever you have free time.

  7. Ok My friend, I’ve got something put together for this one.
The ‘e’ I caught was early in the morning, a ‘g’ word I believe.
    Mine is a corny poem!

  8. Wendy, it’s hard to know just how to pray for you, not knowing exactly what you’re facing or trying to decide about. But Father God knows, he cares, and he cherishes you! So, may you have fullness of joy, directions from the Lord that are clear and specific, “inside” information and wisdom in every daily activity (just because they’re good, doesn’t mean YOU should do them.) https://estherspetition.wordpress.com/2015/02/11/inside-information/
    Blessings, Bette

    • Thanks ma’am. I’m taking the closed doors as a sign to step out in a different direction. Thanks for the prayers, they are a great encouragement.

    • You are so kind. I’m very grateful that Staci from God Colored Girl recommended your blog to me. It’s been so much fun getting better acquainted. I appreciate your support, it’s such a pleasure to be able to return the favor.
