Grateful today

It’s May. Looking back over the last 30 days I realize that I got to see a great deal in April.

It was a daunting Travel month, but I made it through, and I had a pretty good time in the process. 6 flights, 4 states, (6 if you count The airports in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania). I drove 875 miles in Texas between Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Fredericksburg.

I’m so grateful to have gone to the Texas Capital to lobby for my Industry. 3 of the 5 bills we lobbied on, made it to the floor and passed both houses.

I’m also grateful to have gotten to spend a weekend in Fredericksburg, Tx with my husband.

I got to go the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey, Concord, And Boston MA, seeing so many wonderful people and things.

I’m grateful for the strength, freedom, and means to travel.

Staying at the fabulous Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN.

I finished up the month in San Antonio, Texas wandering the Riverwalk, and seeing the Beautiful Pearl District.

    • May is mostly home for me. I have a couple of day trips to Austin, and a Mother’s Day trip with my boys. Hope your May is fabulous!

  1. You could look at it as something tiring you had to do or as some wonderful adventures. Choosing gratitude was a blessing. What an exciting month. It is time to stay home and rest up. Your Mother’s Day trip sounds like fun!

    • Thanks ma’am. I’m not always great at maintaining my attitude. I’m a work in progress.
I’m really looking forward to having both of my boys with me. It will be a great trip.
