Flowers

I’m so grateful the seeds we put down in March took, and we have a beautiful blanket of wild flowers to enjoy.

The waiting, the wondering.  Planting seeds and waiting for them to germinate, sprout, grow, and flower.

What color will they be?  What kind will do well?  Will the birds eat the seeds?  Did I plant too late?  Will it rain?

It takes time.  It takes effort.  It takes patience.  It’s so worth it.

    • The plow implement on the tractor helped. The area runs down the north side of the property about 5 ft wide and 40 yards long. We had to work about 4 pounds of seeds into the soil. The rains have been very helpful!

    • Thanks! I was pretty stoked over our first endeavor. American seed company had a pretty cool deal on their non GMO Bee Butterfly attractor packages. We used about 4 pounds of seeds on that plot.
