The drones came out today. These are some big dudes.
I want to find a way to add an arrow to point to the two gents strolling out for their evening constitutional. The sound they make when they take off is amazing.
All the hives were really calm today when we went to inspect, and very busy. It’s fascinating seeing them come in with their pollen sacs full of bright orange pollen. The golden rod is out in force, and the bees are taking it all in.
A new book awaits me. Survivor, the last of Vince Flynn’s novels. I don’t want to let go of Mitch Rapp just yet. He’s my favorite protagonist.
I’d love to crawl into my book and just live right there.
I found this little app, Color Therapy. It touts relaxation and stress relief.
A coloring book for Big Girls. So I thought, “what the heck. I will give it a twirl”.
The funny thing is I didn’t really like to color when I was a Little Girl…I’m still not crazy about coloring.
Have you seen these? Have you tried them?
I will stick with Zumba. That’s my great stress relief. That and digging in my garden. Yesterday I harvested some Salvia seeds, and Basil seeds to take to the country this weekend. The bees were buzzing about me, and the sun was so mellow and warm. It put me in a very happy place.
I’m grateful for free Zumba classes, a place to plant my flowers, good coffee, and time to do the things I enjoy.
What do you do to get rid of stress? Is it a creative outlet? Is it a physical outlet? I’d love to hear.

Hope you have an awesome week.
Today I’m grateful for good coffee, a non-eventful dental visit, a dog who loves me, and good sunshine. October weather in Texas is perfect today.
I’ve written about balance so many times, you would think that I would be better at it, but I’m not.
I am learning to follow my heart more effectively. It’s efficiency leaves much to be desired…
The future is clouded over with an impenetrable mist. The sun has yet to break forth on what will be.
In the not knowing, the mist is somehow comforting. Not knowing is OK, for now.
Practicing gratitude is a balm I use regularly, until I figure it out, or till it figures out me.
Today I’m grateful for sunshine, good coffee, thriving bee hives, progress on the barn, and some time to just be.
Oh my….September, Summer, 2015 its all fast disappearing in my rear view mirror.
My favorite part of the year is here. When the sun changes, softens, mellows. When the days get shorter, natures color changes, and the world takes on a new look. It’s almost sleepy, this look.
Nature, settling down for a winters nap.
Today, I’m grateful for changes in seasons, mellow sunshine, a day at the Arboretum, and a tutorial in shopping at Trader Joes.
